Primary symptoms of a bad lower harness are bad readings on the oil pressure or oil level gauge. It doesn't really have anything to do with the operation of the engine, other than starter and alternator, and those wires don't tend to go bad. Actually your car isn't known for having bad wiring harness problems at all.
