The cooling system is all buttoned up so I grab a gallon of coolant off the shelf, mix it with distilled H2O and start pouring it in the upper rad hose.
As I start the second gallon, I suddenly realize that it is pink coolant... WTF?
Oh no, it is the VW coolant which all along I thought was my MB stuff sitting on the shelf waiting for this day!
Drained out the pink and discovered I have less than one gal of the MB stuff in stock.
Needless to say I am bummed. I am going to town today to see if Napa has any Zerex G-05
