So why doesnt someone reply to the ad and tell him he is full of it. I have done it in the past. Nothing urkes me more than for someone to blatently lie to the public in an attempt to sell something. When someone makes a false claim to try and fool someone into a sale, I will call them on it, no holds barred. I had a guy once try to sell me a ford F100, he said he wanted $1050 for the truck, I asked if hed take $950, he said the truck had one of those tornado deals in the carb, some sort of spacer plate that let him get 35mpg. I looked him dead in the eye and said, "There is no 390 FE V8 that is going to get 35mpg from a spacer plate, infact, you can take it off and keep it, because I know for a fact that it does not work" I then asked, with the tornado removed, would he take $950. He said that since I was rude, it wasnt for sale to me. I told him, I was rude in response to a rip off scheme, and knowingly false info. I dunno, maybe I am an ass, but I just feel that its my place in life to play car sale police....lol, it seems more rude to me to pass off a possible junk yard candidate, to a seller, and tell them, oh it runs like a top, 35 mpg, never once had a problem.
