any white areas on the old coils next to the brackets? that's where they leak voltage to the outside. and that requires mores amperage from the coil and the ezl units. what wears out coils is worn plugs with lotsa gap, tired caps, rotors and wires. any extra gap in those parts means more effort-amperage-required from the parts upstream. good luck, chuck.
