Thank you for your reply. I took the car to the gas station and there I removed the purge valve. When trying to fill up with gas it still was having problems with filling.
Does this prove that my charcoal canister valve is not what is causing the problem? I think the tank should have vented through the tube that goes to the purge valve, right?
Oh and I forgot to mention that I do not get any check engine light codes and the car runs fine otherwise.
I am wondering if it is the tank overfill check valve or the fuel filler tube check valve may be stuck as shown in the attached picture.
Please help!
