All i'm saying is the owners aren't necessarily training them to be mean...and I wouldn't want to be attacked by a pit. All it takes is one incident to cause behavior problems in a dog. For example one of my dachshunds was attacked by a Golden Retriever, quite a vicious one that a neighbor kept unleashed in his front yard. Moron. Now the dachshund is aggressive towards all yellow furred dogs and especially wary of unleashed dogs. If you have more than one dog, that problematic dog's problems will be learned by the other, normal dogs. Then the owner says WTF, gives up and dumps them at an animal shelter, and the cycle continues.
