Restrictions: (Pretty much IAW current law) no felony convictions, no one adjudicated (as in by an actual judge) mentally defective, and no one dishonorably discharged from the military. Also illegal for illegals, but then they shouldn't be here anyway. More stringent restrictions for Class III weapons, but I think new ones should be allowed to those who qualify.

Favorites: After not liking the AR-15/M-16 for several years, I've developed an appreciation for it. I still like the AK-47, though factory sights could be better. I'm also quite fond of large caliber large frame single action revolvers, as well as the M1911 family and most Glocks. I've been thinking that I should acquire a 12-gauge shotgun as that would facilitate my taking up bird hunting, and we have many tasty birds here in Nevada.
