Has any one used this power antenna http://www.antennax.com/ - Search for Model number AX-05 for $49.95?

It states that it will work with a 300E.

Much cheaper than the OEM.

Mine functions mechanically but even after installing a new stereo, I am getting poor FM reception and almost no AM. The Car Stereo shop said I needed a new antenna.
