This is a great idea. Taking it a step further, there needs to be some way to take note of the mother ship that the small pirate boats launch from. Once the trap is sprung on the pirates in the skiff, then a Harpoon should be fired at the mother ship from BVR to sink it. That should only need to happen a few times before pirates start to think twice.
