That engine only has about 45hp and nothing worth doing will ever change it significantly. Your options are 1) enjoy the scenery at a the slow, stately pace afforded by a 220 2) get a 300D with a turbodiesel and enjoy the scenery at a slightly more brisk pace 3) buy a gasser.

PS: Oh, I just noticed your location....you could also move closer to sea level.
