Old AC Problem

Hi Guys
I live in Canada an it dosent get real hot up here but I found on my 190 that if the fan/fans did not run when the compress cut in the AC did not perform properly.
When I got to TS ing the problem I figured out that and should have known from my old Chrysler that if there no or low air flow accross the condenser then the AC system can not cool and if you check any other brand of vehicle you will fine that when the compressor comes on so do the fans, as in the old Chyr the fan never stoped.
Also if you check the referigerent pressures you will find that they go out of sight when the fans are not running but get a fan on and they come down right away.
On my 190 I installed a vicscous drive engine fan and hooked up the ele fan to come on when the coolent temp goes above 105C having the fan come on when the system preeeure is about to blow up the system is no good.
Just remember that if the condenser cant condens because of no air flow the AC cant put out.
Chuck
