The only thing that might even be considered remotely close to that allegation is that they MIGHT have hinted that they were from the police. Otherwise what we have here is someone who "borrowed" equipment to do naughty things. Would it have invoked as much "outrage" if those fine, upstanding gentlemen had worked in a store that sold video cameras and they had "field tested" them?
