I just came off about an 8 year run with a Toyota Sienna minivan, and it simply ran better than any vehicle I've ever owned. Only thing that ever broke was a rear shock [seal blew out at about 150K] At almost 160K when we sold it it was still on its original timing belt. Fit and finish were very good also, and I really like Toyota's leather. A nice soft tight leather!
I certainly know many many more folks happy with Toyota's than not. Matter of fact, much like Honda's, I've never known anybody who wasn't happy with their Toyota.
Sure, some folks have gotten a lemon here or there, but their good rep is well deserved.
So, having said that, somebody buy that really nice W124!!!
