I understand that you're from Germany and you have a perspective that's probably a bit more shaped and formed from the "other side" (if I may be so bold as to suggest that), but from an outsiders' viewpoint (as in NOT in Germany) and even more to the point, a non-participant in the actual fighting of WWII., how can what has been presented to the world for over 65+ years not be considered offensive to a particular segment of society? Or to the world as a whole?

I'm sure there may have been a segment of the Jewish population that may have been cruel to others, but to suggest (even off-handedly) that what happened in Germany and Poland was just is just plain offensive...no one, or no country, should be allowed the wholesale slaughter of innocents like what happened in Germany, Poland, Russia or China, or any other country around the world. (Pol Pot ring a bell?)
