Yes, we don't enforce the laws because there are some PC issues that we don't dare cross. OTOH, if congress can "get tough" with AIG, why can't they get tough with people that, as you claim, invite them over? If I see that the penalty for DUI is a $50 fine and Johnny Law drives me home, WGAS? I'll drive drunk. What? You want me to pay for a cab out of my own pocket? OTOH, if I fail a sobriety test and a blood test and the penalty is 2 years, I might have to consider it seriously. Now, if the penalty is say summary execution, you bet I will never drink. Again, just an extreme case not calling for drunk drivers to be summarily executed, YET!
