Joe,

There are times when we just have to help the economy, and let others do things for us . . . It sounds that you have found a good mechanic, use him, I'd let him supply the shocks . . . yes it will cost a bit more, but I have found that sometimes that will not only be worth it, but when you need him again . . . he will be there for you.

Right now I'm dealing with an amputaion, happened 2 weeks ago in a printing press accident . . . a lot of things I can't do, either I need help with it, or it doesn't get done . . .

Obviously you enjoy your car, keep it in decent shape and it will reward you with many more miles . . . sure beats making payments on some computerized plastic junk!
