Its not easy/might be impossible with it in the car. The seat back is bolted onto the seat bottom with a couple bolts on each side, the covers need to be (Carefully!) removed to get at them. And there's a power cable running through for the motor in the backrest (recline)......all in all its not that complex, but you'll likely want the seat out of the car....which also isn't that hard.
