Another shortcut. from Dallas Ft worth to Los angeles interstate 20-at Big spring Tx cut north thru Hobbs NM to Clowdcroft---
it is SOO much better to spend the nite on that mt -alpine 10,000 ft instead of the dirtiest air in the country-El Paso-not to mention border hassle/Danger-checkpoints- cuts off 65 miles to Las Cruces. Then after Lordesburg NM cut north off 10 and go thry Globe AZ instead of Tuscon and Casa Grande-cuts off another 75 approx and bypasses traffic headaches up thru east side of Phoenix.
