Replacing Glow Plugs on 94 S350

A couple of months ago, and after MUCH research and browsing of this and other forums, I took the leap on a 94 S350. Bought the car on eBay in Utah and drove it back to Atlanta with no problems whatsoever. The car is a dream on the road and does NOT use any oil. Just turned over 240,000 miles last week.

Anyway, I'm getting ready to replace the glow plugs but I haven't been able to find much information on here about doing it for this specific engine. I've read that taking off the intake is optional, but wanted to hear from people have done it both ways. I've also been trying to find the best reamer, but they seem to be hard to come by for this model as well. I did find one from Baum Tools that I'll probably end up ordering. I already have the glow plugs, but if the intake has to come off, I need the gasket before I dive in. What should I know before tackling this? Best tools to use?

Thanks for any help you can provide. Seriously, this forum has been incredibly helpful at finding out stuff in the past. I usually find most everything through the search function, but this one seems to be eluding me.
