Isn't it more expensive to hang him after we go thru all those appeals, etc, etc? For something like this, I would prefer to see him rot in a cell for as long as he possibly can knowing that that 14 yo gave him a few minutes of fun for possibly 40+ years in the can. It would be a little more fun than a simple "BANG" and it is all over. At this rate, the only ******* he will ever see will be the cellmate kind, assuming he is the dominant one. IF not, well, hand him a mirror to look at what that 5 mins of ******* turned him into.
For some crimes, the death penalty is fitting. I think his offense, assuming he did it, is way more serious and he does NOT deserve a quick end. Something like this he deserves a lot of time to think about how worthwhile that 5 mins of fun was especially if he becomes somebody's "wife".
Personally, if I was offered life WITHOUT the possibility of parole in a cell or something nice and sweet like a needle in the arm or a nice meal followed by a game of "catch the bullet", I'd choose the latter.
