That's what most people say about going off road, they don't want to get them dirty/damaged. But as you see the things can do very nicely. One thing he said was "3 foot mud hole, no problem". But the pic that shows him stuck is about a foot. That is one of the things nice about off-roading. You get together around the campfire after a day on the trail and lie about how good you did
