I would tend to agree. The white smoke could simply be condensation from a cold exhaust. Especially in an area with high humidity. As long as it doesn't continue once it warms up. No coolant loss, no coolant in oil or oil in coolant probably is not a head gasket. Pull your plugs and read them. Change coolant and oil. Do it yourself and you can see obvious problems.
