In the last couple years, I have put TripleTreds on my Audi A4, Saab 9-5, Jaguar XJ8, Volvo V70 XC, and E300 Diesel (210 chassis). I put a set of Fortera TripleTreds on the ML320 and I put two sets (I upgraded the wheels after I bought the first set) on my 1984 300SD.

I have not found them noisy at all. Wet weather traction is awesome, traction in the snow is very good. The ride on the highway is smooth and the tires track well.
The Jaguar did not work well in the snow with them but every other car did. The E300 did particularly well in the snow.
Every car I have that is/was a daily driver, with the exception of the Honda Insight hybrid I had last year (it needs low rolling resistance tires) gets a set of TripleTreds.

My non-daily drivers get either Dunlop SP60's or General Exclaim HP's.
