The ONLY way to know for sure is attaching gauges. Because "somebody says" there is high pressure it does not means such thing is happening. I would not remove anything until gauges are attached and pressures read. Noise could come from low oil in the compressor, or a faulty bearing.
Did your compressor come with the rear speed sensor?
It appears a lot of 10PA17C's are around, but only the mercedes come with the rear sensor.
