Actually the "Nine Tiles Plantation"name started out as a bit of a barb from a co-worker. When I told this person I was putting down Italian marble in the foyerette of my new condo she said:"Oh how many tiles you putting down, nine?" To which I replied while sticking my chest out:"No, it's twenty three tiles but their MY twenty three tiles," she was renting her place when she said this. Being from the South I had to throw in something Southern, so it became The Nine Tiles Plantation....
