You have to wonder...why me? If they really did target you, what turned them onto you specifically? I spend a lot of time in iffy neighborhoods, but never drive anything too nice(largely because I don't own anything too nice) and try to look alert. The reality is, if the bad guy has the element of surprise, you will have a big problem in a big hurry.

I'm even starting to get nervous waiting in line at the bank...bank robberies have been on the upswing, and I surely don't want to get in the middle of anything like that. The little Mobil station right up the road got robbed TWICE in one day, by two different groups recently, and this is allegedly a safe area. I keep telling my kids to be alert and keep their stuff locked up, and for heaven's sake, KEEP THE GARAGE DOOR DOWN so nobody can do a snatch and grab, or case the place and see the toolboxes and power equipment.

Scary little world we live in.
