Thanks Bob. I'll go & get my guages. I was thinking electrical because it was working fine until I started working on a CD player problem and it just failed when I was in the console. I had just started the car, and was fiddling with some errant wiring in the console when it just shut off. Cooling strong before that. I was thinking I have just shorted out something.

This is an '84 300CDT, 170K miles, daily driver. 134 conversion 2 years ago (I did a complete disassembly, flush and changed the core, expansion and dryer). Always very cold until last week's fateful morning.
