I just found out that both my electric fans do actually work.

I even spun them by hand and they didn't seem to bind at all.

They spun pretty freely but I don't have anything to compare it to.

I am still occasionally getting hot air out of the A/C though.

I don't understand it.

The fuse I replaced didn't even look blown but there was evidence of a minor explosion in the fuse box where the fuse was so I replaced it and the A/C started cooling again.

For short spurts, the A/C will turn to heater-hot air and then go back to cooling.
