Angry Horsepower / second gear start / W124 question
I going through my book (forgot the name, but the one everyone hear recommends ) on the 300E info and I think I remember it having a discrepency .

Horsepower - It lists 117(yep! I am sure that is what my book said, so hopefully it looks like a major typo ) for the 91 300E M103. Is it so low vs the 92 and up?

Second Gear start - I thought it only went up to mid year 1991 and there are some 1991's with first gear start. Is this the case? The 91 300E I am going to go see this week, I hope has a first gear start, since I would like the MB but don't want something horribly slow (ie: slower than the Ford 3.0 V6 ).
