hard shifting occurs when the car is pretty warm, and I'm driving it a bit aggressively. This includes using the kick down. when I let off the kickdown, she will start shifting hard. When the trans cools off, it's fine again....
Sometimes, when the car has sat for a few days, it won't want to shift out of 2nd gear until the engine has been reved up to about 3500 rpm. Then the trans will shift, and be fine until I use the kickdown again...
You're saying that installing a 722.6 trans is not possible?? What would the reason for that be??
