Speaking from the experience of going through nearly the exact same situation on a house I flipped a few years ago. I second that idea for sure.

We got a little 110V water pump from Northern Tool. Emptied the thing out a window and into the street via a 5/8” garden hose. Didn’t take long.

Sprayed the thing down with Clorox and water just to be (feel anyway) safe.

Pulled off trim from around it.
Pulled out the pump, heater, controls and whatever we could from under it.

Took a saws-all to it (WEAR A MASK !!) and it (in chunks) went out the window and into a dumpster within 30 minutes.

BTW - They weigh more than they look. Some of our "chunks" were pushing 100+lbs easy.
