After smaking my head ...

After smacking my head, I realized; "I should look at the pictures I took." Yes, while dismantling the rear drum and brake components - I took pictures.

Then I realized that the spring does not go behind the brake shoe, but on the outside of the brake shoe. Derrrrrr

So I got creative with my screw driver. I placed the show in place, with the spring set at the bottom. Things went easier when I ensure the brake shoes were resting on the metal stopper. With all in place, I placed the screwdriver behind the hub, pushed up and in - magic - spring properly install. voila it was done.

Then to install the other springs for 'clamping the shoes down" I again used the screwdriver. No special tool purchased.
