Would appreciate a little HELP. I have a very good running daily use 1986 300SDL and would like to change out the OEM fan clutch and the Alum. fan blade.

What I would like to know is as follows:

Part number for the 606 Clutch (Remember this is going on a 1986 300SDL):
Part number for the fan 9-blade plastic fan:
Part number for the 11-blade plastic fan if used:
Part number for the nuts and bolts to make the change to the plastic fan if needed:

For those who have a 300SDL and made the change, what have you noticed. Good, Bad, not much difference? Any and all will be appreciated.
Thank you,
Ron
I've done this conversion and can't tell much difference. The main difference is the parts are cheaper. It certainly doesn't work any WORSE, but I can't say I can prove there was an improvement.

No part #s handy but I just ordered by telling the Fastlane system that I was buying parts for a 98 or 99 e300 turbodiesel and then ordered the fan clutch and the fan that the computer listed. They were the correct parts.

IIRC I used our existing nuts and bolts.
