Im not sure of the year of your car but the only way the drivers door could lock like that is if there is something attached to the key lock inside the door that is pulling the lock knob down. There is no pneumatic connection to the lock unit unless some one added something. I even tried adding a vac/pressure line to the drivers door lock on my car and then it would work if I activated the pump in the trunk (I did this as a test for a remote door lock but it turned out to be easier to add a solenoid control to the lock knob in the drivers door).
I would take the door panel off and look up at the shaft going from the knob to the key lock to see if anything was added. Even if the pump ran from a short it wouldn't lock the drivers door.
