Still cant get it off. Tried to remove myself, couldnt do it. Then I printed out directions I found on the internet and it wont come off. I need to drive this car early in the AM. I cant even get the pedal to pull up off of the rod, so I wonder if my pedal is even broken? I wonder now if perhaps the linkage is bent? I dont see how though, I never had it over 1/2 way down. It is now probably the way I have been jerking on it. Smashed my finger with the pliers, cut my knee where it was on the ground, etc.

Any detailed help on how to remove would be appreciated.
