my car came with one of those as it was bought from a forum member (
post). unfortunately, after 9 months of driving it, my tach is now going out of whack too. it's good to about 2600 and then it flips around and pegs and comes back, goes a little crazy, as well as pegging when i honk the horn.
besides the cigarette filter, what are the steps to diagnosing this one and permanently repairing it?
