The main issue with the healthcare system today is that EVERY aspect of it needs to be modified in order for anything to happen. Most often blame is placed solely on the insurance companies, but the reality of it is that they are only a small piece of the puzzle. It ranges from private unregulated pharmaceuticals to Doctors overcharging/overdiagnosing to employers having misconceptions about the plans they purchase for their employees.
