Well, I spoke to soon, or it was too good to be true.

The first miles I drove it today, all seemed fine, but the pedal was harder to push than the old pedal and it didnt seem to be springing back up all the way, which I discounted as it being a new pedal. When I got into town, at idle, when I would let off of the brake without depressing the pedal, it would want to "go" more than normal.... with that said, I took my foot and tried to pull up the pedal, but I messed something up, because then I liked to have never got the car to accelerate. My trip back was a SLOW GO and I prayed at every traffic light I came to that it would stay green.

I looked at it when I got home and it dont "look" right. I dont have time to check it again until this evening, but I am wondering if either I didnt install the pedal correctly, or if something else was the issue all along? Perhaps something under the hood is damaged? I will check the pedal again later and report back.
