I had the opportunity to do the conversion after my W124 suffered front-end damage. The body shop balked at attempting the conversion so I stuck with OEM.
After they screwed up one of the headlight harnesses and couldn't figure out how to fix it, I took the car home and dismantled both lights to determine the cause. I corrected the harness (wired backwards), but most importantly, saw how easily I could have done the Euro conversion myself.
So I'm getting Depos soon and deleting the wipers. Mine don't work anyway...

DO IT!!!!
You will not regret it!
When did your 124 get a boo-boo? Was it before or after I saw it last summer?
As for the lights, stick with glass euro lights.... I have the Hella Euros on the wagon, but Depos are good too.
