My question is, if one of the coils goes bad, wouldn't it affect both the cylinder directly below it and the one it jumps to.

when I pulled the codes on my car it says #3 cylinder missing. The #3 cylinder jumps to the #4 cylinder. So if #3 coil is bad, shouldn't the #4 cylinder be missing to.

any advice on this matter would be great.
