I know that section of 73 really well, it's in Orange County, and a toll road that isn't much travelled.

Reason I understand well that temptation (not defending it) and have got the speeding tickets to prove it, is that I have driven it myself multiple times early in the am, getting from SD to the 55 and up past Anaheim.
