After lurking around the soft top thread for the last year I finally replaced mine with a very good top at a reasonable price. I used Corona Uphostery in Turlock, CA (90 miles from the Bay Area). I paid an install fee but let him order the top from the vendor of my choice. I used Robbins Tops based on their reputation. I contacted Robbins where I got excellent advice from their customer service gal. They advised me to use stay fast with german design backing. The Stayfast has a 3 yr. warrantee (not windows) while the german material has only a one year. They advised me that the german material is stiffer and thus harder to install. They sell both with the german material more costly. The stayfast was a beautiful top and the installation was perfect. Jesse had the car for 3 days. Look to pay about $1400 or less total cost. Jesse was also the first one that said I did not need to replace the headliner-he was right.
