W201 Front Control Arm Bushing Rebuild

I'm looking at the information needed to redo the front control arm bushings on my 1993 190E 2.6 and have a few questions.

I went to the junkyard this weekend and pulled a set of good front control arms from a 1990 300E (i assume the arms are the same as my 2.6 after doing some cross referencing part numbers).

now the question is, which set of bushings should I get and how to install?

I'm looking at some more part numbers, and it looks like i need two sets of
1243300675 to rebuild the bushings on both arms?can someone confirm this?

the other question is, what orientation should I install the bushings in? I was reading http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/showthread.php?t=219029&highlight=control+arm+bushing and saw that the 124's should have the bushings installed in one manner, and the 16v's installed in a different manner. should I just follow the instructions for W124 and it would be fine?

I don't understand why the bushings have to be installed differently for different chassis?
