I will, before I buy a New One.
First plan of attack,is to switch Door Switch with Right-side one.
(Although,I know I've tested the Driver's Switch in the past)
Then pull the dash and "See" if the wire to the Relay's #7 is still hooked up
AND has continuity back to the Door Switch.
Well,Finally! Section 54-2312 has the Wiring Schematic and Legend
"Seat belt Warning Control Unit"
O.K. now we're cooking...
Terminal 5 (right front door switch) and terminal 7 (Left front door switch) are
Grafted together into one lead inside the Relay's casing...Either front door Switch provides a Ground Signal to that area of the Relay.
So,since the right front door switch activates the Relay...the left front must
be disabled somehow.
