Just wanted to get some input to see if anyone else has had this issue. My '93 300D will not shift into any gear higher than 2nd. The 1-2 shift is smooth and normal, but the car will not shift into 3rd., even if I try to manually shift it. I have checked the kickdown switch and it clicks when I engage it, so I don't think it is faulty...Any suggestions?
