Sorry for not responding, but I have been on holyday for a week now.

I bought the car with 145K miles, and I am pretty sure it had the original (and blown) accumulators.

Next project must be to clean and flush the WHOLE system.

Good working SLS is a dream! My system works fine when adding weight.
A couple of weeks ago, I helped a friend transporting beer for his 40' anniversary.
I guess I had 8-900 pounds in the trunk. I can tell you the car was pretty low in the back. Started the engine, and the car was levelled within 10 seconds.
