I have a lot of connectors in my private boneyard so I should be good . I plan to do the tracing tonight.
How I did the light shield. The legs were created out of sheet aluminum. One peice that I actually molded by putting it on top of the good one ( I should have made the little feet bigger) . In the middle I left a flat spot to attach to the actual shield via a small (tiny) rivet.
I fabricated the "shield" from the bottom of a can ( bud in this case ) I cut off the bottom and once again used the good shield as a "mold" worked the aluminum into the proper shape. This took some doing as I first had to "flatten" the bottom and then remold it but it worked. I went through several cans as experiments. Then I fastened the legs ( one piece) to the shield via the rivet. Sprayed the high temp black paint and it looks great and works well too - long term - who knows. I will snap a pic and post sometime soon.
Strife , i actually got the idea by looking at the picture of your reflective bowls and the reflector on that one. the legs spanned the shield, the piece I was strugglling with - trying to make the thing out of one piece is impossible ( for me anyhow) !
