Funny you should ask....after spending 2 days with the 430, I was happy to get my 320 back! The 430 sure sounds nice, pulls off the line with plenty of power, but it sure as heck uses a lot more gas! To be honest, I live in a very hilly area and never had a problem with the power of the 320 going up hills, sure the 430 does it with little less effort but if your not towing anything I'm not sure I would want the 430 for long term.
Also the 430 does everything abit more effortlessly using lower RPM's, but I still liked the 320 over it. I'm not a speed demon, and the ML isn't supposed to be a sports car....I have my 300CE-24 for speed and spirited driving.
Thats my opinion, and I am sure other people will think differently. I honestly feel that the 320 is more then adequate in the power department.
As for the NAV voice problem, the shop foreman is looking into it for me. He said it seems a bit low, but didn't have another 2000 to compare it too. Hopefully there is something that can be done to boost the voice prompting of the NAV unit.
