What brand did you have? All I know of are CRP, Meyle, OE (probably Lemforder), and the crap Uro.

I have nothing really positive to say in regards to Uro. Most of their parts I've used fit VERY poorly and wear out quick if they do fit.

Meyle and CRP stuff is good/okay, I use a lot of it on the front ends of my BMWs as it's all that's available minus big cost OE stuff.

Another part I have used is Ocap, and it seems to be doing okay.
