i am actually referring to the threaded post that the bolt that holds the dist in place screws onto. I have removed the dist and aluminum spacer but the final bolt holding the water pump to the block comes directly, squarely into the threaded post itself that the aluminum spacer slides onto and there is not enough clearance between the block and the threaded post to remove the bolt holding the water pump.

I assume this means that I need to remove the threaded post in order to remove that final right side water pump bolt. When I said I used a good amount of force it was on the post not the dist and that post didn't budge.
